Great question! What has helped me the most is planning sermon series in advance. At the start of each quarter, I outline the main themes and scripture passages for the next few weeks. This way, when the week gets busy, I already have a clear direction for the message. I also keep a simple outline template with sections for scripture, key points, illustrations, and application.
